You have found a website which pertains to one of the best role-playing games ever written, SLA Industries. Why so much praise? Well,
SLA comes with mountains of engrossing, atmospheric, consistent background.
The characters are familiar enough to be recogniseable, but different enough to be intriguing.
The world is the first mega-corporation-owns-everything setting to be believable.
It asks more questions than it answers.
The rules aren't very broken.
Karma doesn't think when it names stormers. They just use whatever word pops into their heads. We had a stormer in our squad who's been more of a problem than any Darknight operatives. He's called Sex.
When he applied to our advert for a Death Squad operative, I had to go the department of registration and say that we wanted to have sex in the squad. I was told that we didn't need to register that.
We were interviewed for Third Eye News once. The reporter asked me what was the best thing to have if you know you're going to get into a fight. I said "Sex".
"Itztrong, It's Strong, Itztrong".
Big cheesy grin, then a swig. It was one of the best ligs of my life. Two thousand credits for drinking beer and smiling. Jobs like that don't come every day!

"Mort was dead when we colonised it."
"But what about the Carrien? Head office appears to be non-committal on the subject of where they came from. Are they actually the native population of Mort?"
"Only as native as any recent arrival."
"So what are they? Are they from Karma? Or another alien race?"
"They are simply the product of SLA Industry"
"Excuse me, Intruder... SLA 'Industry'?"
"The product of SLA Industries: SLA Industry."
"So you're saying Karma made them?"
Red-1-C is not a name, it's a designation from Karma. Too many years ago, Karma was given the go-ahead to begin final testing of the new stormer variants: the 714, the 711, the 114, the 23. And the annoyingly persistent Project Red. "Red-1-A" was a near-sighted, ignorant attempt to fuse a Shaktar and a Carrien genome to create a Shiver-replacing stormer. These are two races which not only have different cell structures, but different genetic systems.
