Shiver Sergeant, Gateway 658

In her early thirties, Jill Mounthouse is a career Shiver stationed at Gateway 658. Coming from a long line of Shivers Jill has never been swayed from her intended career. During her time as a Shiver she has seen and done many things. Her first assignment was to a Sleeper Shiver unit and it was here that she realised the depths of DownTown. Since then she has had numerous postings, including two more Sleeper tours but is happiest at the moment working on the Wall. In her own eyes she sees this as her duty so that people in Suburbia don't have to worry about the things she has seen in DownTown.

Jill is of medium build with a muscular body apparent underneath her uniform. She has green eyes and short cropped blonde hair which almost hides an inch long scar by her right ear. She never tries to hide her scar, being secretly proud of it as it was given to her by the first person she arrested. She has several other scars on her body, the most obvious being a tight grouping of 10mm rounds that tore through her armour. Being lucky to survive these shots, it was only six weeks before she was back at work. As she told the psychiatric evaluator if she couldn't be a Shiver she doesn't know what she would do.

In person Jill comes across as slightly gruff and aggressive, finding it slightly amusing if any male characters try charming information out of her. She is completetly loyal to those she considers friends and is surrounded by Shivers who look up to her. One thing she does find annoying are Operatives with attitude. She also doesn't trust them to do the job properly in most cases and will double check their work if they are assigned to the Sector. She will also give squads that are new to the area all of the appropriate forms and protocol manuals so that they behave as expected by the Wall.

Outside of work Jill has an apartment in the Shiver complex near to the Control Centre. She happily spends most of her time in the compound, although occasionally goes to shopping area of Suburbia 658 for items to fill her apartment. She is currently single although has tried dating some of the other Shivers. Cloak Division have identified as a Company Asset and may look at transfering her to them in the next few years.
