Operatives required to investigate landing of space-craft in Cannibal Sector Two. Find and identify craft, inform Department of Investigation, and be prepared to take further action. Squads only, no single Operatives.

A space craft has landed in Cannibal Sector Two and the squad is required to find out whom it belongs to and what their intentions are. They will be airlifted by helicopter to the general area and then required to find out where the ship has landed. During the exploration it is quite possible that they will be attacked by bands of Carriens. The ship, when they find it, will have no markings but by the number of Powersuited people wandering around, it should be quite obvious that it belongs to Thresher. The ship contains 25 Thresher troops who plan to make a quick raid into Downtown, do as much damage as possible, and then get out again. Should the squad contact their superiors, they will be told to slow the Thresher troops down while back-up is sent. Under no circumstances can Thresher be allowed to reach Downtown. There are many ways that the squad can approach this task; of all of them, a direct confrontation is probably the least sensible. Whatever the squad chooses to do, the GM should remember the size and bulk of the Powersuits and the lack of stability in many of the Cannibal Sector buildings. It is at the GM's discretion whether aid from Central arrives in the nick of time or just too late.
