Text: "Five days of guard service in Stockroom #9867-8975-27863. Each day consists of an eight and a half hour period divided by a half hour lunch."
Ok, this BPN is not meant to be specific, but rather, is an example of how a GM can get creative with Blues. After running the game for a year and a half, I've gotten damn tired of the basic stuff in the book (how many carriens can you hunt), plus I detest large shoot-'em-ups. Credit for this particular idea goes to my bud, Jase.
Throughout Central, there are a series of financial districts, each equiped with several "stockrooms" where stocks, shares and bonds are traded by begining level corporate climbers (SCL 11 & 10). These centers also serve another purpose, cameras are posted all over the building to provide footage for the 24 hour Stock channel. The stock channel entertains viewers with footage of corps who loose it in the pursuit of buys (each corp trades another person's stocks like on wall street). For an image of what it looks like, think of wall street and add firearms. The PCs job is to act as a security guard over one area of the room, making sure that things don't get too out of hand from when the room opens at eight, until it closes at five.
Technically this BPN is under third eye, but good luck getting them to film something that's already on tv. (BTW: there are few security measures beyond the operatives. No frisking, no detectors. Why? Because, it wouldn't be half as entertaining if the corps weren't armed.) In addition, the Ops have to worry about the occasional Dark Knight attack / bombing.
This BPN can be great for comic relief: corps get shot but still talk on their phones and try and cut deals, in the midst of getting in trouble with the Ops they still reach for those phones. Use your imagination.
