DN278 Sniper Rifle

Game Desc:

For a long time DarkNight used only captured SLA equipment when it came down to sniper rifles, however, as of late, an increasing number of DarkNight snipers seem to be using the new DN278 Sniper Rifle. The DN278 uses a special 12mm round which seems to be manufactured solely for the DN278. The DN278 comes equipped with a 5 round magazine and 2000m IR & UV telesight.

FEN450 "Instant Death" 21mm Sniper Cannon

Game Desc:

The FEN 450 'Instant Death' Sniper Cannon is a result of the further research on the FEN 400 'Sure Kill'. The FEN 450 fires a special 21mm round/shell, that has been designed for penetrartion rather that damage, making it ideal for taking out powersuits at 'safe' range. The FEN 450 is a warworld only weapon and is not available anywhere on Mort. The FEN 450 comes equipped with a 2000m telesight with image enhancement software and IR/UV capabilities as well as a high intensity laser painter. The FEN 450 is deisgned for use with powered armour that is able to handle the substantial amouts of recoil the weapon produces, which is also the reason the weapon does not come with any form of recoil baffling. The FEN 450 has succesfully been used in a fight against a Fire Inc. powersuit that was on a killing spree at a BLA manufacturing plant.

TigerShark 0005/D1 Assault Rifle (TH.BLA.0167-19F)

Game Desc:

This rifle is outdated equipment and is not used by Thresher troops anymore. However, a small number still exists and is sometimes available on the black market where it is popular with Props and other criminals. The calibre for this weapon is 5mm (also known as RENT50 among Thresher), which is also obtainable on the Black Market. The most apparent reason Thresher must have had for dropping the use of this weapon must be the fact that it does not take advantage of the fact that Thresher PowerSuits is capable of handling much more recoil (and thus larger calibres or higher rate of fire) that this weapon has to offer.

AA17 'CivStopper' Special Issue Pistol

Game Desc:

The AA17 'CivStopper' pistol has been specially designed for the Carnifex spacestation. The reason for the odd choice of caliber is due to the fact that the Carnifex houses some very sensitive electronic equipment, and stray round could cause lots of damage to that equipment, therefore an 7.5mm round with no penetration power was chosen. The design of the pistol is somewhat compact, so it doesnt look like much in the hands of a user. The compact design also makes the pistol quite inaccurate at targets further away than 15m. All AA17's comes equipped with an underslung low intensity laser painter.

GA 85W Vark Assault Rifle (Military Issue Only)

Game Desc:

This Rifle was recently introduced by GA as a competitor to the FEN Warmonger. The rifle is meant to be used by lightly armoured troops who are unable to use the FEN Warmonger due to it's somewhat high recoil rate. The 'Vark' uses the 11.35mm WarWorld round just like the FEN Warmonger.

Death Inc. CW378 Plasma Lance

Game Desc:

The plasma lance doesnt look like much when it isn't on, actually it doesnt look like anything else than a 25 cm long metalcylinder with a hole in one of its ends and some weird looking battery. However should the Plasma Lance be held with both hands by somebody (and if the battery is charged), a 1.5m long focused plasma beam will shoot forth. The plasma beam is quite high powered and is able to cut through even the heaviest armour classes with unnerving ease. The method used in the Plasma Lance is that it heats the material in front of it (usually the air) till it reaches plasma state, thus the weapon cannot be parried by any known means. With regard to energy consumption, the Plasma Lance is something of a greedy fella, the battery unit can hold up to 500 hours of conventional enargy which will be enough for the lance to function for 1 hour. The Plasma Lance originally designed by Shaktars for Shaktars and thus its a bit large for normal humans to use. Finally it should be said that the Plasma Lance is a conflict-war weapon, and thus is unavailable in any stores (legel or illegal, it doesnt matter). Should a player be lucky enough to find one, it is certain that they could sell it for quite a profit. When found there will be a 25% chance that it is broken, and it's battery will contain d6*10 minutes worth of energy.
