The college of choice for Kick Murder Operatives

Orange Crush is a moon of Mort which acts as the main customs for the planet. All goods and people have to pass through here before being shuttled down to the planets surface. This isolation from the main planet allows for easy quarantine of any product or person. Orange Crush is in a fast orbit around Mort, circling the planet every 13 days. Its surface is covered in manufacturing plants, communications devices and dropship launch areas. There is also a substantial amount of weaponry that Orange Crush uses to protect Mort from any attacks. Combined with the geostationary satellites that also orbit Mort, nothing larger than the occasional dropship can ever enter Mort without being detected. Dark Lament also has facilities on the planet, including an offset beacon for Guidance. This allows Ebb Navigators to detect Guidance but arrive in orbit with Orange Crush, rather than Mort itself.

Orange Crush is also home to specialised Kick Murder Squad (and Death Squad) training, taking those Operatives who are in the top five percent of their year for extended training. In game terms, this means anyone who has two or more KM Package skills at 8 or higher. As well as the advanced training they are also given lots of psyche evaluations to determine how they can benefit SLA Industries best in the future. Even those who become regular Operatives are normally on a fast lane to working for Cloak or IA in the future. Most true OC graduates will not mention that they have even been there.

Very few OC trained KMS Ops go on to the Contract Circuit, as most are required for more covert activities in later life. However a few will use the Circuit to further hone their skills and tactics. Most of the KMS Ops who are on the Contract Circuit are those who have a chip on their shoulder because they didn't get to go to Orange Crush. The Contrct Killer Deity is known to have trained at Orange Crush, and occasionally returns there to talk to current trainees.
